Sustainability is in Reach Rapidly Changing Surroundings

Why Sustainability Matters To You

I will be the first to admit that I was not prepared to take on this responsibility, that is why I cannot assume that anyone else was prepared. The problems that we face are a result of decades of industrialization and poor business practices. It is not appropriate to point fingers at those who are to blame because we are all living on this earth together, and it is our collective duty to ensure that our future generations will be able to do the same. Sure, the claim may seem like one from a tree huger, but if you have ever felt the need to protect your home and family, this issue should not be taken any lighter.

That’s why I’m asking you to take some time to go beyond your current business practices and carefully examine how your business can reduce its carbon footprint. Improving energy efficiency is simple, and it does not involve a huge shift in existing practices. Reduce your commuting time, use post-consumer paper when appropriate and deal with local businesses that are ecologically conscious and are willing to work with you to achieve this common goal.

My Goal

My goal is to spread the importance/acceptance of global climate change so that others can adapt to a new way of greener living. My hope is that as a unified movement, we can create the core to reversing the negative effects that human consumption has had on our planet. The current idea of green has an emotional appeal that can often be disregarded by those that are not aware of the enormity of the current crisis.

My Resources

My Responsibility

I am an essential hub that can connect businesses like yours to global consumers and create a relationship that has multilateral benefits. By making ideas of our world’s scientists readily available to the public, I can reach people that often bypass important information concerning their well being.
